Adiva Naturals Opens in Shockoe Bottom

Adiva Naturals, a local manufacturer of luxury hair and skincare products, has moved into Shockoe Bottom with a new showroom and manufacturing facility at 1802 East Franklin Street.

Sourcing natural organic ingredients, this farm-to-table hair and skincare product manufacturer uses the highest-quality ingredients to provide customers with a total wellness experience. Products include hair and body refresher, milk and lavender face cleanser, coconut cream and avocado conditioning shampoo, apple cider vinegar clarifying herbal rinse and more.

New York native and Richmond entrepreneur, Nadira Chase gave birth to Adiva Naturals in 2002, from the kitchen of her former restaurant, Tropical Soul. There she would prepare heaping batches of her Ginger & Sugar Body Polish and her popular leave-in hair and skin conditioner for restaurant clients as a hobby.

“After years of battling psoriasis, I began to see significant improvements after making and using my first batch of natural skincare products. I began to share these products with my friends and family as gifts initially. They quickly became customers and assisted in growing my and establishing my initial client base. Through our 16-year history, our Adiva Naturals family has continued to grow based on this one simple concept,” says Chase.
