My Nourishing Kitchen Offers Plant-Based Meal Prep Workshops

Karen Rountree has opened My Nourishing Kitchen a healthy, plant-based, meal prep business in the Ashland area. She knew the best way for her family to be healthy was to prepare healthy meals in her own kitchen, but dreaded grocery shopping, and figuring out healthy recipes took too much time.

Most existing meal prep services didn’t offer the healthiest meals, were not allergen-friendly and were too pricey for her budget. As a result, Rountree became a Thrive4Mom meal prep coach and says, “My Nourishing Kitchen wants to make convenience healthy and family meal time nutritious, attainable and affordable. Our goal is to provide nourishing food that will nourish your family and your life. The meals in My Nourishing Kitchen will never contain processed chemicals or ingredients you can’t pronounce. They are always gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, corn-free and egg-free, and while they are plant-based, you don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy them.”

Cost per workshop is $159, which includes the groceries. For more information, call 804-928-5334 or visit
