Natural Awakenings Richmond

Begin Registering for Agriberry Farm Fruit CSA

Agriberry Farm offers the region’s only all-fruit CSA (community supported agriculture) program, serving more than 475 families in the Richmond, Williamsburg, Northern Neck and Annapolis areas. The season starts with strawberries in late April or early May and runs through September, and registration is now open.

Agriberry Farm is located on 25 acres near the Pamunkey River in Hanover County. Owned and operated by the Geyer family, it was founded in 2008 and grows 12 types of blackberries and nine types of raspberries, plus peaches, nectarines and plums, with more diversity added every year.

CSA members register and pay for their memberships during the winter and spring, then pick up weekly shares of the berries and fruit harvested from Agriberry Farm and other family-owned farms in the region. The farm’s CSA members also support the Geyer family mission of inspiring a new generation of farmers. The farm’s Young Worker Program hires more than 50 local workers each summer to help harvest their berries.
