Time is a funny thing—the way some days can seem so long, yet the years tend to fly by.
Happy 2018! Is it just me or do the years seem to be clipping by at a faster pace with each trip we take around the sun?!
As we begin to welcome spring, my thoughts turn to the gardeners and farmers that have been busy at work planting the seeds that will yield marvelous bounty in the weeks and months to come.
And just like that, another school year is coming to a close. That may not be the first thing on many of your minds, but I think it’s really starting to hit me now that my baby boy is finishing up his junior year of high school and we’ll just have one more year with him living at home full time.
I hope you are having an amazing summer. Mine is filled with sorting, packing and unpacking—we are moving, again! Locally—into a smaller place, preparing for our impending empty nest.
I love this issue because of its focus on yoga, one of the best ways I have found to simultaneously move my body, quiet my mind, and feed my soul.

Happy 2017! The new year brings with it so much possibility and potential. And this issue, jam-packed with interesting news, articles and events provides you with a multitude of ways to ensure that your year is full of opportunities for healthy living.
As I write this, we have had a pretty mild winter; yet still, I am ready for spring. I love going outside without a jacket on, seeing flowers beginning to bloom and birds building their nests.
There’s so much to celebrate in this issue. Since it spans the months of May and June, we have Mother’s Day and Father’s Day (I love you mom & Wood and dad & Anne!).
