Embracing Anger: Learning Ourselves

We have been socialized to believe that anger is a bad word, and a feeling that should be avoided. In reality, anger is something that is normal, valid, informative, and even helpful. We all feel anger at different points, though it may range its severity and expression.
In Embracing Anger: Learning Ourselves, you will learn more about your personal anger style and how to navigate it, rather than eliminate it. Facilitator Brooke Taylor, will use their decade long experience in conflict management and peer counseling to guide participants through both triggers and positive reinforcement of tough emotions with the goal of embracing every part of ourselves, even our anger.
Participants can expect to engage in open discussions during the meeting times in addition to completing written work in between sessions.
