Dis-Ease to Disease: How Our Thoughts & Emotions Impact Our Health
Discussion of the latest research on the impact of stress on our mind and bodies, and include discussion on how to build resilience against the inevitable daily stressors we are all facing.
Psychological stress directly impacts your physical and mental health. The stressors you encounter everyday kick off a complex interplay between your immune system, hormones, and nervous system which makes you more vulnerable to not only getting physically sick but to also developing depression, anxiety, fatigue, and brain fog. This 3-hour workshop will give you an introduction to the field of psychoneuroimmunology.
Facilitator: Ashley L. Mannell, RD, NP, IFMCP
