Spring is upon us, and elementary students throughout Richmond are learning about trees through Project Plant It!, a program of Dominion, the parent company of Dominion Virginia Power.

At no cost to schools or teachers, the program provides each student with a redbud tree seedling to plant on Arbor Day, April 25. Teachers have received a kit of instructional materials including SOL-based lesson plans, posters, certificates and more.
