Free Blood Pressure Screenings
Jan 02, 2026 07:13AM ● By Catherine Atienza
A community partnership between VCU Health, the American Heart Association, Daily Planet Health Services and Capital AHEC—organizations committed to expanding access to preventive care and empowering Richmond residents to take proactive steps toward healthier living, will conduct professional blood pressure screenings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., January 3, and the first Saturday of every month, at the Westover Hills Library.
High blood pressure often shows no symptoms, yet it remains one of the leading risk factors for heart disease and stroke. These screenings offer an easy, accessible way to stay informed about the numbers and receive guidance about next steps if results fall outside the recommended range.
Admission is free. No appointment is necessary. Location: 1408 Westover Hills Blvd., Richmond.
