Ask A Holistic Nurse is now Mandalas of Life, offering holistic nursing, conscious aging and inter-spiritual and interfaith programs and services. Owner Hayat Bain, RN, makes this change to reflect an expansion of services. Besides advanced training in holistic nursing, Bain was recently ordained as an interfaith minister.

Other new qualifications include Conscious Aging Workshop facilitator and certified leader of Dances of Universal Peace. As a certified sound healer, vocalist and classically trained flutist, Bain weaves music and sound throughout all of her work.

Mandalas of Life offers an integration of nutrition and alternative health options to optimize well-being through Healing Touch, sound healing, basic EFT/energy psychology, conventional nursing assessment, promotion of elder independence, health education and referrals.

Bain offers weekly visits to assess physical and emotional health, fill medication boxes and make recommendations for safety, health and quality of life. Family members can request consultations for a number of issues including daily assistance and end-of-life spiritual care.
