Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center has received the elite Magnet designation as part of the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition Program.

To receive Magnet recognition, hospitals are required to demonstrate strong leadership among nursing staff, excellent inter-professional relationships among members of its health care team and high levels of employee satisfaction, engagement and professional development. Only about 7 percent of hospitals in the country achieve Magnet designation.

Coupled with St. Francis’ previously awarded Pathway to Excellence designation, the hospital is one of only three in the world to have received both designations.
