Float Your Troubles Away in Midlothian

Resonance Float & Sound has opened at 1312 Sycamore Square, in Midlothian—a 3,500-square-foot center offering a wide variety of services, products and programs to help clients effectively deal with stress or simply enjoy a brief respite from their day. Owner Kathy Goodwin says, “Some studies attribute as much as 90 percent of all doctor visits to stress, so it seemed a relaxation center incorporating some of the services that worked best for me was an idea whose time had come.”

The downstairs offers floatation therapy using a state-of-the-art Evolution Float Pod; sound and vibrational healing using a sound chair with four embedded speakers and a body pillow with two more, plus headphones; harmonic crystal body tuning sessions while resting on an infrared, jade and tourmaline heated mat; a Vibra Therapy machine; an infrared Himalayan salt sauna; a book and resource corner; and a meditation and reflection area.

There’s also a rotating art gallery spotlighting local artists and an alchemical arts boutique. Upstairs are spaces for rent, as well as two consultation rooms, a meeting room and a conference/classroom.

Grand Opening Events: August 6, 7. For more information, call 804-955-0029 or visit ResonanceFloatAndSound.com.
