Help for Those Suffering Physical and Emotional Distress

Flowering Cactus is a new holistic resource for helping people in physical and emotional pain find alignment in the body, mind and spirit so they can more easily and joyfully do the things they love for as long as possible.

During nearly a decade of teaching yoga, owner Mary Burruss has witnessed astounding changes in her students and recently decided to expand her offerings to mind/body coaching. “Primarily, I am helping people who are in physical pain who are fearful of surgery or living with this pain for the rest of their lives,” she says. “I work with them, along with other Flowering Cactus partners such as personal trainer Al Conde, of Elysium Fitness, to get them out of pain and into a place of stabilization, and then make a long-term plan to keep them in a state of optimal health.”

Her mind/body approach seems to work. A current client shared that Burruss’ “guidance helped tremendously in the transitioning of my body from a state of recovery to a state of health. I would recommend her to anyone interested in a transition of their own through professional, dedicated and tailored yoga instruction.”
