The 17th annual Richmond VegFest will be held from noon to 6 p.m., September 14, at Byrd Park, its new location this year. As always, there will be live music, delicious food, cooking demonstrations, more than 100 vendors, life-changing presentations and the most compassionate people in RVA. Animal adoptions provide an opportunity to find a new BFF.

The main objective of this event, presented by Vegan Action and sponsored by the Vegetarian Society of Richmond, My Vegan Sweet Tooth, VegFund, Hang Space, American Family Fitness and Natural Awakenings magazine, is to educate the public about the many healthful and humane aspects of a vegan lifestyle.
