Liver Disease Awareness Walk
Oct 01, 2025 07:01AM ● By Catherine Atienza
The annual Liver Life Walk will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, October 5, in Bryan Park, with check-in at 9 a.m. This is a signature event of the American Liver Foundation (ALF), providing participants an opportunity to raise awareness and funds in support of the liver community in an inspirational and festive environment.
Funds raised benefit the 100 million Americans affected by liver disease through resources, education and support services, and help advance advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill and liver disease research.
The ALF is the nation’s largest nonprofit organization focused solely on promoting liver health and disease prevention by funding scientific research, education for medical professionals, advocacy, information and support programs for patients and their families, as well as public awareness campaigns about liver wellness and disease prevention. Their mission is to promote education, advocacy, support services and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.
Registration is $20. Location: 4308 Hermitage Rd., Richmond. For more information, visit LiverLifeWalk.org/virginia.
