Herbs Galore  will provide fun activities and discoveries for all types of gardeners from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 25, at Maymont Farm, including mixed herbs container garden workshops and a plant sale with herbs, flowers, vegetables, shrubs, native plants and nature-inspired accessories. Vendors are happy to share tips and pointers with plant lovers of all levels, and there will be crafts and activities for all ages.

The event includes local food trucks, live music from the Richmond Indigenous Gourd Orchestra, talks and Q&A with plant experts and hands-on crafts for all ages. Admission includes mini-tours of Maymont Mansion, audio tours of the historic Italian Garden and entry to The Robins Nature Center.

Also, at 6 p.m., April 23, Curator Kathy Garrett-Cox will join Senior Manager of Horticulture Sean Proietti for a talk about Maymont’s Italian Garden, along with a tour (separate admission).
