Prism Saunas and Sound is a private infrared sauna and sound therapy spa in downtown RVA. We offer individual and partner sauna sessions in private rooms, no shared spaces. The VibroAcoustic (Sound) Therapy is a non-invasive, energy-based approach to wellness. It works by converting sound into vibration and applying directly to the body using our selective low-frequency sound bed system.

Prism Saunas and Sound provides Vibroacoustic Therapy sessions, or VAT, which is a deep tissue low-frequency no-touch sound massage using audio waves in the range of 30 Hz-120 Hz that are being transmitted to the body by embedded transducers in an ergonomic sound bed. Feel the same frequencies your brain hears. As you lay on our sound lounger, the frequencies you feel synchronize with what you hear to create an immersive three-dimensional audio experience. Our practitioner will recommend a music track encoded with vibroacoustic frequencies that will optimize your relaxation potential through meditation and vibration.
