On Being A Man in the 21st Century: Thoughts Through a Jungian Lens
Drawing on ideas from Depth Psychology and myth, we will explore some of the key tasks for a man to find soul and meaning in his life.
Break through the clutter in the environment and your own mind. The world of technology with its flood of information make connecting with who we really are very challenging. While this is just as true for women as it is for men, we will focus on some of the challenges that men face specifically in today’s world. The tasks differ over the course of a lifetime moving from establishing a place in the outer world with a stable and functional ego identity, to a call from the soul in midlife, and to the claiming of wisdom and grace of old age. Following the movement of the hero to the sage, we will explore the individuation journey of men in the 21st Century.
