QI: The Force Behind Blood Flow and Higher Intelligence
Interview with Qigong Practitioner Jeff Primack
by Damon Damato
Can
you describe Qi?
Qi is the electric life
presence that beats the human heart and charges the air we breathe. The effects
of Qi are profound for increasing circulation and improving endocrine
imbalances. Qi is related to static electricity and can be harnessed with hand
postures.
Qi
Revolution is coming to Virginia Beach Convention Center March 7th - 9th. What
is your higher vision for sharing this kind of healing with hundreds of people?
We visit Virginia Beach
every few years and transform a convention center into sacred space. Our
intention is to experience the authentic healing and stress-dissolving
practices of Qigong in a strong group energy field. Sound, light and Qi graphics
are used to improve learning so everyone can feel what is going on without any
previous experience. Many people that attend heal old injuries and nearly
everyone is strengthened by the energy. Our vision for this event is to uplift
the group energy to the highest level to benefit all who attend.
There
are a number of healing routines within the Qi Revolution experience. Do you
need to be fit to participate? Can one
receive healing attributes if they are out of shape, ill or have other physical
impairments?
People of all ages can
benefit from Qigong. Those with injuries often experience pain relief by doing
Qigong in the first morning practices. We are okay with people practicing where
their body is at and provide modified postures for those who need special
assistance.
The
breath work at the Qi Revolution is transformative. Can one become more
peaceful and increase awareness from the breath?
A renowned surgeon named
Perrin Clark, MD from Daytona Beach, Florida, recently attended our national
event. He told us he was super-stressed because a major component of his job
was giving bad news to patients, causing him to hold his breath a lot without
even realizing it. After attending Qi Revolution and learning Qigong and the
9-breath method, our signature breathing technique, he now reports his stress
has decreased dramatically. He has since become certified in both our Qigong
and Food Healing programs.
I’ve
seen a shift over the past few years where your focus has really honed in on
food healing, especially in regards to food science. Why do you feel this is so
important and how does it relate to one’s personal Qi?
Food is key to excellent
health, especially natural foods. Kiwi for example, has helped reverse asthma
in hundreds of students I’ve counseled. Moreover, the medical journal Thorax indicates children who
ate kiwi 3-5 times a week, versus those who didn’t eat any, had a much lower
incidence of asthma.
Food affects our Qi by
becoming our blood and the cells that carry oxygen to our brain. I teach that
eating red foods, high in carotenoids, are the best way to stop the oxidative
processes responsible for heart disease and brain degeneration. We serve
smoothies and sweet red pepper paste to all Qi Revolution attendees so they can
taste for themselves how delicious natural foods can be prepared.
You
perform a Global Healing Circle that is legendary. Can you tell me more about
it?
The living electricity
felt in the hands of the healing circle is unlike anything else we teach. After
everyone is proficient in using the 9-breath method, we hold hands while doing
it many times. The feeling is like an electric current going through everyone’s
legs, arms and hands—it is powerful and amazing! During the Circle, we focus
our minds to God and ask for the healing of people we love and send light to
noble groups and nations worldwide.
Qi Revolution will be held March 7 - 9, 2020 at the Virginia Beach
Convention Center. The cost is $199. 24 CEUs. Veterans may attend free of
charge. For more information, call 800-298-8970 or visit QiRevolution.com.
